Clinical Decision Making
Clinical decision making is the process by which a healthcare provider determine who needs what and when, in relation to a particular patient. While not exactly arbitrary, this exercise can be quite subjective.
At BPI we are looking for ways to enhance the clinical decision making in emerging markets, where the clinical expertise and resources are proportionally limited, with a hybrid model described by Ray Kurzweil: in the singularity is near where computers using big data are is the forefront and are gently navigated by the experts locally or remotely to provide the best decisions on how to treat patients, taking in consideration our guiding principles and the value based healthcare delivery model.
We work with research institutes and big data analysts to best utilize today’s technology to leapfrog healthcare delivery in emerging markets.
